Toolless Keystone Jack with Color-Matched Foolproof Cap Design
This STP keystone jack features a foolproof IDC cap with one side molded in gray and the other in white, simplifying field termination and preventing misplacement. The keystone jack’s IDC termination block also follows the same gray-white orientation, allowing technicians to match the colors for quick and intuitive termination. Once the wire pairs are placed into the correct wire configurations, the cap can be pressed down directly without second-guessing the position. The STP toolless keystone jack is perfect for on-site installations.
The Side Cable Entry Tips for Cat6A STP Multi-Entry Keystone Jack
For side cable entry, it is essential to follow a few key steps to maintain proper shielding contact. The technicians should bend down the corresponding pre-cut entry point of the Ethernet jack after choosing either the left or right entry direction. Next, the grounding wire of the cable must first be passed through the IDC cap and be established full electrical contact with the jack’s rear entry metal tab. Following these termination steps ensures reliable signal integrity even in tight spaces and data centers.
