The RJ45 ethernet female plug is an ideal item for 110 punch-down terminations in residential use. Each jack is color-coded for both the EIA/TIA568 A and B standards for compatibility with any installation. A shielded version is also available, offering maximum protection from EMI and RFI interference. The signal noise will be reduced by a significant amount if fully shielded jacks, connecting hardware with alloy die casting, and shielded twisted pair cables are used to make up your home network.
