Cat.8 S/FTP 22 AWG Solid Cable

Cat8 22 AWG Shielded Ethernet Cable

GHMT vertified Cat8 SFTP solid cable with 22 gauge bare copper wires passed the Channel test. The PoE++ Cat.8 solid cable is compliant with IEEE 802.3bt Type 4, feeding both data and power off your device with one cable. Cat.8 solid ethernet cable is great for high-speed demand over long distances because it allows data to travel further along the cable with less attenuation (signal loss). It works best with our CAT8 Toolless field term plugs or CAT8 toolless full shielded keystone jacks.

Cat.8 GHMT Channel Certified

CAT8 shielded solid cable is GHMT certified and tested under a 30 m (98 ft) Channel configuration. It can support data speeds of 25Gbps at a maximum Channel length of 30 meters (98 feet). Tested in a field-testing lab, the cable is set up to be used in the most bandwidth-intensive enterprise data centers and edge data centers that require low-latency data transfer. The cable bandwidth of Category 8 balanced twisted pair copper cabling is field tested from 1MHz to 2,000MHz (2GHz). Cat8 cabling is tested under a stricter setting and a higher standard than Category 6A structured copper cabling, which is only tested from 1MHz to 500MHz.

Cat.8 Bare Copper 22 AWG Solid Wires

Cat.8 screened solid cable delivers high data transfer rate through the 4 balanced twisted pairs of 22 AWG (0.64 mm) bare copper solid wires. Bare copper solid cables are used in a variety of industries (e.g. manufacturing, electrical, marine, and telecom companies) because they have a high melting point and high heat resistance. Bare copper wire is also more resistant to corrosion, which gives the cable a longer shelf life. We do not use any CCA, CCS, or other materials that are composed of non-copper metals. We use bare copper conductors and provide cables of the highest quality.

Cat.8 4PPoE Solid Ethernet Cable

Cat.8 4PPoE screened ethernet solid cable provides high data speeds and high wattage power supply over a single cable. It is compliant with the highest IEEE 802.3bt standard (IEEE 802.3bt Type 4 Class 8). The 4PPoE (also called PoE++) solid cable eliminates the need for power cords. Running PoE++ over all 4 pairs simultaneously with data and power at a maximum range of 30 m (98 ft) simplifies the installation of edge computing devices and saves space in crowded server rooms. The PoE++ cable can reach PoE devices (e.g. security cameras, VoIP phones, wireless access points, etc.) when they are not conveniently close to an AC power source. It is tested with the NetScout LinkRunner G2 cable tester, a network testing and troubleshooting tool to verify network connectivity and validate the power output of the cable. Just a small note about the cable tester: NetScout was once a part of Fluke Networks. The LinkRunner product line was acquired by a privately owned firm StoneCalibre in 2018.
