Why is 3 prong pins plug better than 2 prong pins plug?

EXW provides 3 prong pins for both solid cables and stranded cables (Y pins and Z pins). The 2 prong pins plugs we offer are for either solid cables or stranded cables (B pins and E pins). Our type Z 3 prong pins features by its hollow design, a drilling hole on the contact pins, which greatly reduces crosstalk. The 3 prong pins plug also got patented in Taiwan, China, USA, Germany, and Japan. The 3 prong pins plug shows higher quality of conductivity than 2 prong pins plug because the staggered 3 prong pins have larger contact area with copper wires. Compared to 2 prong pins plug, 3 prong pins plug has multiple applications in 2 kinds of cables (solid and stranded), and has higher performance.

Precisely embedded height, hollow design, and multiple applications are the benefits of our patented 3 prong pins. Being compatible with solid and stranded cables, the 3 prong pins plug helps you utilize your warehouse space effectively because you don’t need to stock different types of plugs to compatible with your different cables. In addition, we take strictly control of contact pins’ embedded height, which can avoid loose contact. Moreover, the hollow design of the 3 prong pins plug expands the gold plating area and decreases crosstalk, assuring high performance of the wiring connection.

Custom Gold Plating Thickness of RJ45 Plugs

The gold plating thickness of our copper alloy wires can be customized from flash microinches to 50 microinches. Before gold plating, we plate a layer of nickel, which is often applied to the substrate (the base material such as brass or phosphor bronze) as a backing to improve the overall wear resistance and reduce pores in the gold. Gold plating enhances the contact pins' conductivity and corrosion resistance. Gold shows its outstanding resistance to chemical erosion even at high temperatures. X-Ray Test, Salt Spray Test and Nitric Acid Test Approval
X-Ray Test, Salt Spray Test and Nitric Acid Test Approval

EXW ensures the nickel and gold plating thickness, corrosion resistance, and the substrate materials by X-ray fluorescence (XRF) spectrometer, salt spray test ASTMB117-1997 (also called salt fog test), and nitric acid testing. Plugs with 50 microinches gold plating will be tested by salt spray test for 48 hours, ensuring the contact pins and gold wires meet the standard. Our gold wires also tested by nitric acid testing. With these three testing, we certify that our modular plugs meet the international standards and specifications, ensuring our plugs meet each customers' need.
